Description
For this lab, you are requested to simulate a simplified version of the solar system with following specifications:
Planets:
Simulate the sun, the earth + moon and mars.
Note: sun should have self illumination effect. Also, you should introduce sun as the only light source in your simulation.
Animation:
Show animation paths and keep in mind that the earth and mars do spin about their own axis at the same time as they revolve around the sun. Use only 100 frames for your animation.
Textures:
The planets must be textured properly. Please download high-resolution textures for planets and apply.
To submit:
- Once finished, select a good perspective and capture a movie from your animation.
- Submit the animation file along with your original .max file separately through blackboard before the deadline, i.e. DO NOT ZIP THEM.
Note: Late submissions will receive zero grade.
